• Laptop or PC: To carry out this installation, you need PC or Laptop.
• Take Device Backup: The very first thing to pay attention to is taking the device backup. You might not be able to take the backup of phone data, however, if you have inserted a memory card in your device, remove it at least to save it.
  
• Xiaomi Flash Tool: Download and Install the Xiaomi Mi Flash tool on your PC (Fastboot Method)
• Install Latest Driver: Install the Latest Xiaomi USB Drivers. 
• Download: Download the below given required files on your PC.

So if you get flash devcfg_a error right after clicking "flash", restart your phone into fastboot and go to the terminal window and execute :

• ./fastboot flashing unlock

• ./fastboot flashing unlock_critical

After that, try again flashing you phone.

If you want you can relock the bootloader with both ./fastboot flashing lock and ./fastboot flashing lock_critical .

If after that you still can't flash the stock rom, try again the whole process from the beginning and make sure you've downloaded the correct rom.
