It has a microUSB port for data syncing and charging. There is a accelerometer sensor present on the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5100. It is a single SIM smartphone with support for 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS too.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5100 runs on Android OS, v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and all this is powered by a 7000 mAh battery. It measures 256.6 x 175.3 x 9.7 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 588 grams including battery.



Pre-Requirements

How to Install Lineage OS on Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5100

Step 1: Download and transfer the Lineage OS ROM and Gapps files to internal storage of your samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P5100.

Step 2: Boot your device into TWRP recovery. You can simply Google how to enter recovery mode on your device.

Step 3: In TWRP recovery, click on Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Dalvik Cache + System + Cache + Data

Step 4: Go back to TWRP main menu, tap on Install and select the Lineage OS Zip file that you transferred to your device.

Step 5: After selecting the .zip file, do Swipe to Confirm Flash on the bottom of the screen to begin the custom ROM installation process. This may take some time.

Step 6: Once your custom ROM is successfully flashed, you’ll see Wipe cache/Dalvik option, select it and then do Swipe to wipe on the bottom of the screen.

Step 7: Now flash the Lineage OS Gapps file similarly like you flashed the custom ROM file.

Step 8: After flashing both custom ROM and Gapps files, reboot your device and First start takes a long time.

Done! You’ve successfully updated samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 gt-p5100 android 7 Custom ROM Lineage OS 14.1 Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

    TWRP can only see the lineage zip file but doesn't see the Open_GApps zip on the same SD card. I've tried re-downloading the files, reformatted the SD card but same result every time. What am I doing wrong?

      Sorted the above for myself now. Windows 10 had converted the zip into a .pfile on downloading - never encountered that before. I overcame it by downloading the Open_GApps file on an Android device.

      Hope this might be of help to someone else.

      After leaving the comment, I install Gapps with ARM + 7.1 + PICO, then problem came.
      Which is keep on popping up "Setup Wizard is not responding... and other similar FC, etc"

    I'm actually stuck, I was trying to copy the OS and Open apps files to the internal storage and it kicks me out without any error message. I could now see the tab just shows a battery symbol whenever I boot it. Please can you help ?

      It's better now, the device booted up with samsung logo and ODIN detects but the drive doesnt come up in computer to copy the lineage OS and open apps files...

    Thanks for your help. My problem is I have no audio whatsoever and You Tube brings up a playback error on every single video. I downloaded You Tube straight after getting in for the first time off the Play store. No video or sound on any other part of the tablet including Spotify. I installed exactly as shown by you but the option to update the TWRP didn't come up during the installation and went straight to boot. Samsung GT- P5110. TWRP3.3.0.2 Lineage as shown by you ending 1945. Espresso MD5 as yours above. It's also very laggy as a whole except the settings menus. Please let me know if what I can try if you can be so kind.
