Pre-Requisites
This will work on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 (Don’t Try this on Any other device):
- Charge your phone up to 80% or 70%.
- Download the latest USB Samsung Driver.
- You will lose the original ROM or any CUSTOM ROM if you already installed on your phone. So make sure to Backup your phone before doing this step using TWRP or CWM or any Custom Recovery.
- You can also backup all your Data.
- You must install TWRP or any Custom Recovery on your phone.
- Download all the Zip files from below and Place it in your phone’s root of internal memory or to SD Card.
- Rooting your phone will void the warranty.
- Make sure to take the complete backup of your phone before starting this process.
- Rooting your phone can damage your phone permanently.

Steps to Be Followed
Step 1: Download AOSP OS GT-P7500 Custom ROM packages from downloads section to your PC. Do not unzip the packages.
Step 2: Connect Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500 to PC using an USB cable.
Step 3: Transfer the downloaded packages into the root of phone or SD card memory.
Step 4: Once the transfer is done, disconnect the USB and turn off the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500.
Step 5: Enter custom recovery mode on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 GT-P7500.
Turn on the device by holding Volume up+Power buttons together until you see the recovery mode.
Step 6: In custom recovery mode, you can view a list of options which are not available in Stock recovery. Among them, find and select wipe data/factory reset.
Step 7: Now perform a complete data wipe by selecting wipe cache partition.
Step 8: Once done, enter advanced options in recovery mode and select wipe dalvik cache.
Step 9: If you are done with all the above steps, you can flash the firmware package now. Select aosp-7.1-p4-20170214.zip. Confirm the installation and do not interrupt the process. You can skip step 10 if you don’t need Google apps.
Step 10: After completion follow Step 9 again and choose P7500-open_gapps-arm-7.1-pico-20170416.zip
package in this case.
Step 10: Once the packages installation is completed, select reboot system now option.

Excellent instructions, easy to follow. It almost works on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi GT-P7510. The only issue is that Google Play Services keeps stopping. Is there any fix for this or does it simply not work with the GT-P7510 ?? It does allow me to access email and Internet so not a complete waste :)
