Here is another super fast and stable ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Phoenix ROM v1.0 is based on the lastest stock firmware: Android 4.2.2 XWUBMF8.
The Galaxy S4 has just been released and the developers have already put themselves to the work of custom development for this new smartphone. The device is definitely a powerhouse with the best features and specs found on any existing smartphone. Samsung has left no stone untouched to load its new flagship with new features but when it comes to the design part, the company has definitely disappointed all who were expecting something new. The Galaxy S4, however, is a real standout in the smartphone market. And with its bigger screen, higher resolution camera, and lots of bells and whistles, it is likely to attract a lot of new consumers but not the owners of Galaxy S3 or Note 2.
It is fully deodexed and system is faster by 30% from stock! It has unique PhoeniX bootanimation & shutdown animation.

Installing custom Rom S8 is an unofficial operation. The ROM is a free aftermarket distribution of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and not an official update released by Google or by Samsung. Moreover, the firmware has been optimized for your Galaxy S4 by third party devs. Because of that, when completing this tutorial your phone’s warranty will get void. And you will not be able to reclaim your warranty if your phone gets bricked – you will have to either pay for technical assistance, or choose to manually troubleshoot your damaged Samsung Galaxy S4.
You have to charge your smartphone before installing CM12. It is important to plug in the charger if the battery power left is lower than 50% - else your phone might get turned off in the middle of the update operation.
